Libraries

A visit to the local library in any community is a wonderful and enriching way to spend a day!  Librarians serve as a very valuable resource for our children.  They are extremely knowledgeable about the books within their library and are always willing to help children find just the right book to read.

Request a program for the Library in your community!

Here is a list of our programs that are currently available.

Having a Reading and Writing Good Time
We partner with elementary schools, day care centers, community centers, libraries, churches and other various children’s organizations to implement our literacy programs and activities that focus on making reading a fun and enlightening experience for children. We tailor our literacy programs to compliment the current educational curriculum of those particular schools. • Reading is Cool (RIC)
Through our RIC program, we provide new children’s books to libraries, schools, day care centers, churches, and various other organizations that support educating elementary school children living in under-served communities.  Many of these children have limited direct access to books which can impact their educational growth and development as well as their sense of creativity and imagination. If you are a librarian in an under-served community, contact us for more details on RIC donations at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

• Literacy Fairs
Our Sleep Pea Angel Literacy Fairs are “fundraisers” that emphasize the importance of reading while providing fun activities for children.
