Volunteering to read to children
Do you have a passion for literacy and enjoy reading to children with zeal and plenty of excitement?  If so, consider volunteering your time and talent to read to children through our Sleep Pea Angel Literacy Outreach Programs.

Participating in Sleep Pea Angel Literacy Fairs
It takes numerous individuals to successfully sponsor a Sleep Pea Angel Literacy Fair.  Activities can include setting up the booths and displays, staffing the booths, handling the ticket sales, and collecting books. If you would like to volunteer your time and talent to help us make each Sleep Pea Angel Literacy Fair the best it can be, please contact us.

Donating children’s books (child friendly)
Do you have new or like new children’s books you would like to donate?  We would love to have those books for our Reading is Cool (RIC) book donation program for children in under-served communities.  In addition, we need individuals to help categorize and catalogue those books for the RIC program.

Administrative Support
If you are detail oriented and your administrative skills include organization, time management, and good computer skills, we would love to have you volunteer your time and talent. Examples include assembling information packets, cataloging books, coordinating educational materials for schools, mailing brochures, contacting and following up with email inquiries and phone calls.
